Representatives from the CFISD and Good Neighbor Healthcare Center gathered for a groundbreaking ceremony on Dec. 14 for a 10,000-sq.-ft. school-based Federal Qualified Healthcare Clinic. The clinic, which will be located a the new 179-acre multi-campus site at FM 529 and Westgreen Blvd., will bring quality health care services to district students.
The faculty is scheduled to open August 2016, more than a year after the partnership between CFISD and GNHS was announced during the May 2015 Board of Trustees meeting.
